Connectivity
Our wholesale data transmission services provide a reliable technological foundation for our partners — whether for international backbone connections or nationwide infrastructure links. Our solutions allow for flexible configuration and the symmetrical, closed, and secure interconnection of endpoints in a variety of topologies, always with high availability and guaranteed quality. All our connections are delivered over 2Connect’s own optical backbone network of more than 42,000 km, complemented where necessary by an MPLS-based infrastructure developed in cooperation with partners. Optional monitoring and full network management services are also available, enabling our customers to benefit from not only high-speed but also transparent and secure data transmission solutions — 24 hours a day.
L2 VPN (Wholesale or WS L2 VPN)
2Connect’s wholesale Layer 2 VPN service provides access to a reliable, guaranteed-quality Ethernet-based data transmission network for electronic communications service provider partners offering retail services. The solution enables the closed, secure interconnection of multiple endpoints with high availability — in point-to-point (E-LINE), point-to-multipoint (E-TREE), or multipoint-to-multipoint (E-LAN) configurations.
With the WS L2 VPN service, providers can create their own retail service between VPN endpoints, serving either as a subscriber-level WAN or as a network-level service provider infrastructure.
The service is based on 2Connect’s own Ethernet aggregation backbone network, ensuring dedicated bandwidth, symmetrical data transmission, and stable service quality independent of traffic load. Communication between endpoints is fully transparent, allowing partners to manage their own protocols without compromising performance or security.
The WS L2 VPN service is ideal for providers seeking to build an unified infrastructure and private virtual network between geographically dispersed locations.
Leased Line (WS MLL)
2Connect’s wholesale leased line service provides dedicated, point-to-point data transmission for our electronic communications service provider partners offering retail services. The connection exclusively carries the traffic of the given customer, ensuring guaranteed bandwidth and maximum reliability. This solution is ideal in scenarios where secure, symmetrical, and continuously available dedicated connectivity is of critical importance.
As part of the service, 2Connect establishes a direct SDH/TDM-based transmission path between designated service access points, physically and logically separated from all other network elements. Connections allow for modular capacity upgrades while ensuring protocol-independent, transparent data transfer. The service can optionally be complemented with a router, simplifying integration into the customer’s existing network.
2Connect’s leased line network is continuously monitored and operates under SLA conditions, backed by high-level technical support and rapid fault resolution. This solution is particularly well suited for directly linking data centers, critical systems, financial institutions, and public service facilities.
A leased line is the cornerstone of stable, predictable operations — not just a technological option, but a fundamental network service that guarantees business continuity.
Monitoring
2Connect’s monitoring service provides comprehensive, real-time visibility into the network for our electronic communications service provider partners using our WS L2 VPN or WS MLL services. The solution enables detailed tracking of technical and traffic parameters, and — where technically possible — the display of Layer 3 (IP) level data according to partner requirements.
The system supports operations with graphical charts and detailed analytics: availability metrics, load levels, and network events can be displayed based on 1- and 5-minute measurement intervals. Consolidated dashboards and endpoint-level detailed views help quickly identify faults and monitor SLA compliance.
Our monitoring service enables proactive network operations: partners can transparently track the performance of their network services, perform historical analyses, and optimise operations based on the available data. Implementation of the service depends on the service access equipment and the customer premises equipment (CPE) used at the subscriber access point. In all cases, a preliminary assessment is required, along with customised configurations adapted to the technology in place and the specific service requirements.
2Connect’s monitoring is not just an extra feature — it is a strategic tool that provides transparency, security, and operational control in the hands of our wholesale partners.
